Reclaiming Your Missing Pieces

An important aspect of enlightenment is the return to wholeness or oneness.

It makes sense that a part of your journey to enlightenment is finding and reclaiming those pieces of yourself that are part of the oneness or wholeness of who you came here to be. As a soul incarnates into a body, it does not do so all at once. The physical and energetic body of a baby needs to grow and develop and pieces of its soul or spirit will incarnate as it grows older. A major age for a child’s soul piece to connect with their current lifetime is at the age of 7. If the soul sees the experience of living in a body as stressful, scary or abusive, that soul piece may choose to hang out outside of the body of the child and does not fully incarnate.

Consider for a moment a situation of a young child growing up in an alcoholic home with an abusive parent. If the child does not feel safe in his or her surroundings, if there is pain and abuse and sorrow in its young life instead of love, support and joy, a piece of its soul will look at the life and basically say ‘no thanks, I don’t want to put myself in that situation.’ Which means at some point along the way to enlightenment, the work of the adult is to go back and claim the soul piece that did not come in during that time of its life.

As an adult, you have the ability to take care of, protect and keep your inner child safe in a way that your parents or those around you were not capable of. There are lots of programs that help heal the Inner Child and at some point, you will need to look at this aspect of your life to see if you have some missing pieces that need to be held, loved and protected by you, the adult. This work also goes beyond this lifetime to what is known as a ‘past life time’. In reality, all of our lifetimes are happening at once but in our construct of time and space, we see them as something happening in the past. When a soul incarnates on this planet, it does so with the purpose of growing, expanding and learning something it wants to learn. It then ‘graduates’ at the end of its lifetime and takes the learning or expansion back to what I refer to as the ‘over soul’.

As we incarnate from lifetime to lifetime, the gifts and wisdom we have accumulated throughout each lifetime, incarnates with us as we continue to grow and expand into more of who we are at a soul level. There are times, however, when our soul incarnated with the purpose of learning and expressing our gifts (soul purpose) but something happened that kept our soul trapped in that lifetime when it died.  Many of the soul pieces I have helped retrieve have been because of some shock or trauma that happened during or at the end of a lifetime.

There are many reasons for this, including:

  • Anger, fear or grief at not being able to complete their soul purpose

  • A feeling of responsibility for others that created an energetic attachment

  • The grief created by others that did not allow them to leave

  • Shock or trauma

  • An unresolved situation

The above may be the reasons a soul piece got stuck in an incarnation but each soul piece also contains spiritual gifts, inner wisdom and light.  As we find and welcome these soul pieces home, we find ourselves more able to handle whatever challenges we currently have in this lifetime.  In the journey to wholeness and a return to oneness, retrieving these soul pieces both from this lifetime and past life times will be part of the journey.

When you realize that these missing pieces each contain aspects of yourself that you may have been searching for, makes the journey all the more worthwhile.  The Inner Diamond method helped me begin finding and reclaiming my pieces.  For more information about the Inner Diamond Meditation, visit: https://www.annetterugolo.com/inner-diamond-meditation
