I was at an expo recently, promoting my new book and talking to people about spirits. There were three very specific themes that emerged throughout the conversations and I will be covering them in my next few blogs.
The first type of conversation was where the person wasn’t familiar with the concept of ‘lost souls’ and didn’t know what I meant about releasing a lost soul. There question was basically, ‘What do you mean by a soul?”
The second type were those wondering how they would even know if there was a spirit in their house.
The third were those describing to me how they handled a situation if a spirit or spirits were in their house.
I’m going to begin with the last one, communicating with spirits.
It is refreshing to talk to people who are aware of a spirit or spirits in their home and don’t go into a place of fear. One woman I spoke with described a home she lived in for 20 years. Shortly after moving into the home, she began hearing noises that weren’t related to anything or anyone else in the home. She knew immediately that there was a spirit with them and she very calmly communicated to the spirit that he/she was welcome to stay in the house with them but they needed to be quiet. Once she talked to the spirit, she never heard another noise. That is, until the day she moved out. As they were leaving with the final boxes, the spirit made itself known as if to say good-bye.
Many people have come to this place of communicating and living calmly with the spirits in their home. This is a great first step until they also understand that these spirits are in need of being released and are waiting for someone to help them.
