A good way to connect and learn more about the children in our lives is through the language of color. Every color has its own unique frequency and when you begin to work with color with your child, they will show you what they need.
I was working with a mom recently who asked how she could best support her 7-year-old son. When I connected with her son at a soul level, he gave me some information on how she could support him.
What he showed me was a poster board with his picture placed in the lower center portion of the board. Around the top of the board were placed round circles of the 24 colors that his mom had started working with after taking the Inner Diamond meditation class.
He wanted his mom to create this board and then, each day, ask him what color or colors he needed for that day. He would then choose some colors and place them around his picture. Based on the colors he would choose, his mother could determine what he needed.
For instance, if he chose the color royal blue, he was needing some energetic protection. If he chose peach, he needed some joy in his day. Choosing emerald green was showing his mom he needed some healing.
Especially when a child is young, using color is a great way for parents to know what they need and to help them. In my next blog, I will be sharing a story of how color helped a mom and her 3-year-old at her daycare.
