As parents prepare to send their children back to school, my blogs this month will focus on children. The focus will not be on their physical needs, however, but on their energetic and spiritual needs.
I’m starting off the first week with this picture of my granddaughter taken when she was 9 months old. My daughter showed it to me after taking the picture and we were both amazed at what we saw. If you look closely at the picture, you will see rings of energy around her.
This is her energy field, or aura field. All of us, including our children, have these fields around us but they are not always quite so visible.
Before I can begin talking about it the importance of protecting your child’s energy field, I felt it important that you see what I’m talking about.
Many of the children born today carry a very particular vibration around them. These children have been grouped according to their vibration. You may have heard of Indigo, Dolphin and Crystal children. There are also children known as Moon children.
Each child (and all of us) bring this light and vibration into the world when they are born and as a parent, grandparent, relative or caregiver of these children, it is important that we keep their energy fields protected so they can continue to shine their light and continue to uplift the people around them.
I have been helping parents and grandparents energetically protect their children for many years and here are just a few experiences they have shared with me:
The mother of a six-year-old learned the Protection Meditation and, one day, while she was doing the meditation, her son came in the room and asked what she was doing. She told him she was protecting herself and he immediately wanted to learn how to do it, too.
After that, he asked his mom every day to help “put on his lights.” After about a week, he told his mom that his cousin needed the lights, too, and can they do the lights for him? His mom, of course, said yes and one of their daily practices before school was to “put their lights on.”
Another young boy, who was four years old at the time, had a hard time sleeping and needed the lights in his bedroom on all night. He was afraid of something in his room and couldn’t tell his mom what it was. He consistently had dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.
His mom learned the Protection Meditation and immediately taught it to her son. The first morning after doing the meditation together, her son woke up after a solid night’s sleep. At breakfast, he shared with his mom a dream he had during the night. He and his friends were on a boat. The boat capsized and they all ended up in the water. But he assured his mom that it was okay because he had his life jacket on and he saved all of his friends. It was a great confirmation for his mom that the Protection Meditation worked and was keeping her son safe.
When people ask how they will know if this meditation will work for them or not, I simply invite them to try it for a week and see if they see or feel a difference because of it. Do it for you and your child, and then pay attention to changes … you may be surprised.
